Notifications

SaleSprint can send 71 different kinds of message — to you, to your staff, to your suppliers and to your customers — over five channels: the in-app bell, phone push, email, text message and WhatsApp.

The Notifications menu itself needs no permission: everyone has an Inbox and Preferences. The three entries below them need the Growth plan and an administrator permission.

Menu entry What it is
Inbox your own notifications — the bell and your inbox
Preferences what you receive and where — your preferences
Message Templates empty placeholder
Delivery Log empty placeholder
Notification policies organisation-wide rules — policies

Two more parts of the feature live outside this menu:

  • Setups → Notification Receivers — the address list that business alerts go to. See alert recipients.
  • The bell in the top bar, on every screen.

The single most useful thing to understand is that notifications go to three different kinds of recipient, and each is controlled somewhere different.

Who What they get Controlled by
You things about you or your work — an approval waiting, your password changed your own preferences, and any policy your administrator has locked
The business operational alerts — low stock, overdue invoices, RFQs closing the receiver list under Setups
Your customers order confirmations, receipts, statements, reminders settings, not preferences — see what gets sent

Nothing on your own preferences screen affects what your customers receive.

What to know before relying on any of this

Five things apply across the whole feature. Each is covered in detail on the page concerned, but they are worth knowing up front.

Tapping a notification does not open the document it is about. Not in the inbox, not in the bell, not from a push on your phone. Notifications tell you; finding the record is up to you.

WhatsApp notifications never arrive. The channel is offered but not built.

A failed message is never retried, and nobody is told. There is no delivery log in the app, so there is no way to check whether an email or text actually went out.

Messages silenced by quiet hours are dropped, not delayed.

You receive everything until you turn it off. Notifications are opt-out, so a new business is signed up to the lot.

  • Broadcasts — deliberate marketing messages, a separate feature with its own credits and its own delivery report
