Dunning and collections

Dunning is the automatic escalation applied to a tenant who has not paid: reminders first, then read-only, then a hard suspension, then write-off.

  1. Go to Billing / SaaS → Billing settings.
  2. Set Grace days — the reminder-only window after the due date.
  3. Set Read-only days — when the workspace becomes read-only: staff can sign in but nothing saves.
  4. Set Suspend days — when login is blocked entirely.
  5. Set Write-off days — when the balance is written off. 0 means never.
  6. Tick Enforce read-only lockout to allow the restrictive rungs. Untick it and only reminders are sent.
  7. Click Save settings.

The rungs must be in order: grace ≤ read-only ≤ suspend, and write-off must be 0 or later than suspend. You are told if they are not.

An individual customer can be given different terms on the Dunning terms tab of their tenant page.

Billing / SaaS → Dunning shows Overdue tenants, Past-due subscriptions, Restricted, Suspended and Dunning candidates, an AR aging breakdown, and a Tenants needing attention table aged by bucket — Current, 1-30, 31-60, 61-90 and 90+ days.

Per row you can open Invoices, or use the lifecycle controls described under tenants: Restrict, Suspend, Reactivate, Lift restriction and Cancel.
