The host console

Running SaleSprint for other people means running a second application alongside it: the host console, a separate web app for the operator. It is where you define the plans customers subscribe to, invoice them, chase arrears, publish the legal terms and the app builds, and look after the platform’s reference data.

It is not part of the merchant app. Merchants never see it, and it has its own sign-in.

Go to the console’s address and you get a card headed Sign in — “Sign in to the provider back office.”

  1. Enter Email or username.
  2. Enter Password.
  3. Click Sign in.

There is no workspace or tenant box. This sign-in is always host-scope.

A token belonging to a tenant is refused outright with “host privileges required”, however much that tenant trusts it. Host and tenant are separate worlds.

The landing page is a cross-tenant health view: Total outstanding, Overdue tenants, Active subscriptions, Trialing, Past due and Suspended, an AR aging breakdown by age bucket, and the top five overdue tenants.

It degrades rather than breaks — if the aging report fails you get “AR aging data is temporarily unavailable. Subscription metrics are still live.” rather than a blank page.

Three screens can cause real damage, and each carries its own warning where it is documented:

  • Data purge — permanently deletes a customer’s business data.
  • Permission tiers — one edit silently removes a permission from every tenant below a plan, immediately.
  • Releases — the minimum-version floor can lock every device on a platform out of the app at once.

You cannot create a tenant. There is no New tenant button anywhere in the console. Workspaces come into existence through signup and onboarding outside it.

You cannot manage a tenant’s own staff. No inviting, disabling or password-resetting a merchant’s users. The only place a tenant’s people appear at all is the impersonation picker.
