Industry packs
SaleSprint has extra screens for particular trades — a restaurant’s tabs and kitchen screen, a garage’s job cards, a pawn shop’s loans. You switch on the ones that match your business and the menu changes to suit.
Read the honesty section below before you plan anything around these. The packs differ enormously in how finished they are, and the differences are not visible from the menu.
How to switch on your industry
Section titled “How to switch on your industry”- Go to Settings → Business types.
- Tick the industries you operate. The line at the top tells you where you stand — “1 of 3 industries enabled”.
- Click Save. You will see “Business types updated”.
- The Verticals section appears in the menu with your packs in it.
The 22 choices are: Agriculture, Automotive Workshop, Car Wash, Fashion & Apparel, Field Service, Fitness & Gym, Fresh Food / Butchery, Fuel Station, Hardware & Building, Clinic / Health, Hospitality / Hotel, Jewellery, Laundry, Optical, Pawnshop, Pharmacy, Print & Signage, Rental, Device Repair, Restaurant, Salon & Spa and Veterinary.
The honest state of each pack
Section titled “The honest state of each pack”Every one of the 99 screens under the Verticals menu is now built. None of them opens an empty placeholder — that was true of about half of them until recently, and is no longer.
What still varies is how far each pack goes.
Four packs have their own counter. Restaurant, Hotel, Salon and Rental each have a till built for that trade, and all four take real payment. Pharmacy dispenses through its own counter too.
The rest are record-keeping alongside the ordinary till. Garages, clinics, builders’ merchants, farms and the others give you proper lists and forms; the money is rung up through the normal point of sale.
What “Settle” does — read this once
Section titled “What “Settle” does — read this once”Most industry documents have a Settle row action, and it does the same thing everywhere. It is the most misunderstood button in the product.
Settle also always bills with no tax and no discount, leaving the sale to work tax out itself, and it is online only — it will not queue if you are offline.

What every pack shares
Section titled “What every pack shares”- Everything needs the Growth plan or higher.
- Each screen has its own permission, so you can give the kitchen staff the kitchen screen and nothing else. See Roles and permissions.
- Industry records live alongside your ordinary ones — the same customers, the same products, the same stock. A pack adds screens; it does not create a separate business.
