Farm, field service, laundry and fuel

Four industries add a screen or two each. All are real and working — an earlier version of this guide said they added nothing, which is no longer true.

They have something in common worth saying up front: each is a register, not a workflow. Nothing here touches stock, money or your books. The deeper parts of each trade exist in the system but have no screens yet, so anything derived is typed in by hand.

Farm Fields (the page is headed Fields) records each field:

  1. Click New record and choose the Company and Location.
  2. Enter the Name. Required.
  3. Enter the Area and the Area unit — free text, so pick ha or acre and be consistent. Left blank it defaults to hectares.
  4. Set the Status — Fallow, Planted, Growing, Harvested or Retired.
  5. Add a Location description.

Livestock Batches records a group of animals: a Name and Species (both required, species is free text), a Head count, an Average weight (kg), a Health status — Healthy, Under treatment, Quarantine, Sold or Deceased — and an Acquired on date.

To hold harvested produce as real stock, treat it as manufacturing — inputs becoming outputs — and keep the field as a location if you need stock held separately.

One screen. Technician Territories records a Territory name (required), the Technician, the Regions it covers as free text, and whether it is Primary.

The list does not even show which technician a territory belongs to. Open the record to see it.

Laundry Orders records a job you take in and hand back.

  1. Click New record and choose the Company and Location.
  2. Pick the Customer, or leave it as None.
  3. Enter your own Order number.
  4. Set the Status — it starts at Open.
  5. Enter the Total amount.
  6. Check the Received at time and set a Promised at time.
  7. Save.

Move it along with Change status: Open, In process, Ready, Collected or Cancelled. Marking it Collected stamps the time.

Any status can jump to any other, so a Collected order can be set back to Open.

Feature
Verticals → Fuel

Fuel Tanks records each tank: a Tank name (required), a Fuel grade — Petrol (regular), Petrol (premium), Diesel, Kerosene, LPG, CNG or Ethanol — a Capacity (L) and a Current level (L).

For fuel you actually sell, treat it as a product by volume — see units and packs — and use a stock count to record what a dip says is really there.

Export produces no file on any of these screens.

Company and Location look editable when you edit a record and are not — the dropdowns open, let you choose, and keep the original.

Only company and location are checked before saving. Everything else is validated by the server after you press Save.

Two screens are gated on unrelated permissions. Technician Territories checks a salon permission and Laundry Orders checks a hospitality one. Whoever sets up your roles needs to know this, or the buttons vanish for the right people.

Menu labels differ from page titles: “Farm Fields” opens “Fields”.
