Reporting → Dashboard → Sales

Dashboard sits at the top of the menu and holds sixteen read-only screens of tiles and charts. Each one is gated separately, so most people see only two or three of them.

  1. Open it from Dashboard → name.
  2. Pick a period from the pills at the top: Today, Week, Month or Year. Every dashboard opens on Month.
  3. Read. There is nothing to click and nothing to run.
In the menu The page is headed What it covers

Two sections on the Sales dashboard — Reserved / pickup and Layaway — appear only if you use them, so their absence is not a fault.

Owner is one long scroll of every other dashboard’s headline numbers: Business Pulse, Sales, Finance, Credit & Receivables, Stock Health, Approvals, Collections, Cashier Shifts and your messaging credits.

Where a section shows a padlock and “Unavailable — you may not have access to this data”, you are missing the permission for that area.

Home and Owner are not the same page, and they will disagree:

Home Owner
Shows today, by default this month, by default
Purpose what to do now — tasks, shortcuts, what needs attention how the business is doing
Refresh has a refresh button none
Tiles six at most, each tappable, with a “vs last period” trend around fifty, read-only
Who sees it everyone needs the sales dashboard permission

Sales, cash collected, low stock, overdue and open tills appear on both — but Home shows them for today and Owner for the month. Different numbers, both correct.

Approval Bottlenecks’ “Pending Over 1 Day” and “Over 7 Days” are counted from right now, so they do not change when you switch the period. That is deliberate.

Amounts carry your business’s currency symbol and are converted from any foreign document at the rate recorded on it — except on the Van dashboard, where the figures are added up without conversion.

Dashboards need a connection and keep no offline copy. With no signal you get “Could not load dashboard data.” and a Retry button, straight away.

If you loaded a dashboard earlier in the session and then lost your connection, the old figures stay on screen with nothing to tell you they are stale.

A dashboard you can see in the menu but that always fails to load usually means your role has the permission for that one dashboard but not the overall dashboard permission. Both are needed. Ask whoever manages your roles to grant Dashboard as well as the specific one.
