How to get commission into your accounts
Section titled “How to get commission into your accounts”- On the record’s row menu, click Accrue. This books the expense and what you owe.
- Pay the person outside the app — cash, bank transfer, however you normally do.
- Come back and click Pay. This clears what you owed.
“Pay” does not pay anybody. It writes an accounting entry. There is no bank file, no payment run and no link to any cash or bank transaction.
What you are expected to do with all this
Section titled “What you are expected to do with all this”Being blunt, because the screens are not:
For hours: open Time Sheet Entries, read the Total hours column somebody typed, and pay your staff outside the app. You cannot export the list — the Export button shows a message and produces no file — so you are reading it off the screen or re-keying it.
For commission: type each record, click Accrue so it reaches your books, pay the person outside the app, then click Pay.
Nothing here calculates pay, and there is no payroll.
