When somebody fills a basket and leaves, SaleSprint can email or text them a link that brings the basket back. This one is genuinely automatic — it runs every fifteen minutes, on its own.

A basket becomes “abandoned” when it has sat untouched for an hour (you can change that), and the shopper left an email address, or a phone number that is verified on their account.

They then get up to three messages — after 1 hour, 24 hours and 72 hours by default — each with a fresh link straight back to their basket. The last one can carry a discount code if you configure one.

Every message has an unsubscribe link, and a shopper who uses it is never contacted about that basket again.

Four figures across the top cover the last 30 days: Abandoned, Recovered, Recovery rate, and Reminders sent with how many links were opened.

The statuses:

In progress Reminders are still scheduled.
All reminders sent The sequence finished. They can still come back and buy.
Recovered They came back and ordered.
Expired The basket expired or was emptied.
Opted out They unsubscribed, or you stopped it.
  • Send next reminder sends the next message in the sequence immediately.
  • Stop reminders ends it. This cannot be undone — there is no resume.

The Bought together tab lists pairs of products your customers actually buy in the same transaction — from your shop and your till. It is recalculated every night, and needs a pair to appear in at least two completed sales before it counts.

Baskets is how many sales contain the pair. Confidence is how often buying the first leads to the second. Lift is how much more likely than chance. You do not have to act on any of it.

Click Recompute now to rebuild it immediately after a busy period.

These suggestions appear in three places on your shop: under a product, on the basket page, and on a shopper’s account page.

  1. Go to the Pins & exclusions tab and click Add pin or exclusion.
  2. Under On the page of, pick the product whose page you are changing.
  3. Choose Always show or Never show.
  4. Pick the other product.
  5. For a pin, set Position — lower numbers show first.
  6. Save.

There is no edit — to change a rule, remove it and add it again.
